No tickets are required. This ceremony is open to all students who completed their degrees in 2020, 2021, and 2022.

Applying for your Degree

Commencement is not the same thing as graduating!  If you are finishing your degree requirements in Spring or Summer term, don't forget to apply to graduate.

Undergraduate students apply on Duckweb. The deadline to apply for a Spring undergraduate degree is April 24th.

Graduate students apply on the Division of Graduate Studies Website. The deadline to apply for a Spring graduate degree is May 13th.

Be sure to apply for the term in which you will actually finish your degree.

Department Commencement Participation Information

The ceremony is for both graduate and undergraduate Geological and Earth Science majors. This includes this year's graduates and those graduates who could not attend in-person ceremonies in June 2020 or June 2021.  Participants will be individually recognized for their achievement.
